Contract UX / UI design role to work closely with the client, helping to create a new banking site and improve the experience of the current app for Vanquis Bank.
Continuous user-testing sessions and UX workshopping the outcomes of these sessions across existing features, saw our small team revalidate our hypothesis every week or two, we got to a stage where the proto website and the app looked like one unified experience.
The App, over the course of this UX and UI rework doubled it’s ratings to 4,8 stars by November 2017, with it comfortably sitting within the Top 20 Finance Apps.
User journeys and overall design aesthetic was kept simplistic. We invested in an easy to understand visual language, heavily based on accessibility standards and IOS human interface guidelines.
