As of early 2017, the Lite@Nite website has been downscaled by it’s parent GLH Hotels.
Lite@Nite, a charity group, host a series of charity events around the UK. In 2014 McCormack & Morrison were involved in re-platforming and overhauling their old site. I was given the task of working on the visual design for the new site.
Improvements that were integrated included full responsive design, google map API’s for the Events pages, articles and a newsroom, event tracking and other complex interactions. The most challenging aspect of the project were the interactive maps on the events page and designing the unique user interfaces for these.
Designed on Bootstrap grids, nearly all of my website work is responsive, including this site.
After the designs were signed off I worked closely with the Dev team, creating the assets required for build, including toolkits, PSD’s, SVG’s, as well as regular meetings with Dev to match the designs up with build with regular usability testing.
